The amazing WetStar Compound makes a noticeable and, at the end, marked difference. The outstanding grip is unparalleled in difficult conditions! This counterbalances the higher rolling friction. 
The top competitiontyre with all around protection. As well as the High Density belt it is also protected by a layer of SnakeSkin fabric. Hand making a tubular tyre is an art in itself. So, because production differs distinctly from the manufacture of regular bicycle tyres, they are exclusively manufactured in a new Schwalbe factory. For each, individual “hand made tubular” a lot of careful craftsmanship is required, so only the most skilled people are employed to construct each tyre and, by hand, stitch and glue together each part. Naturally it has a latex tube and RaceStar Triple Compound for excellent performance.
